Transferor Branch

The name(s) in the Transferor branch will automatically populate from the system after the source PIN or Effective Instrument (depending on the Transfer type Instrument created) is added. Names can be added or removed in this branch as required.

Click to CloseTo add a Transferor

  1. Enter the name of the Transferor.

Tip: Person names must be entered in the following format: LAST, FIRST.

Note: If the type of name entered is a Company and contains one or more commas, the Type indicator will default to Person. This can be changed by selecting the name in the toggled list on the left, and selecting Company from the Type options.

  1. Select the Add Transferor button.
  2. The Transferor displays in the branch.

Tip: To expand or contract all the Instrument branches containing information, from the green arrow menu Green arrow menu, select either Expand All or Contract All.

  1. In the Transferor branch, either select the Transferor in the toggled Click to CloseTransferor list or, from the green arrow menu Green arrow menu next to the desired Transferor record, select Open.
  1. In the Family Law Act and Age Statements section, select the required Click to Closestatements, if applicable.

The Instrument type you have chosen determines which statements will be available for selection.

Note: These statements will be greyed out if they aren't required for the Instrument type.

Note: A statement number that is bold (For example: Bold Text) indicates that the statement is a law compliance statement. Any Teraview user can select the statement but when the Instrument is electronically signed for completeness, the signing user must be a lawyer.

Tip: Words in uppercase (for example: Uppercase text: NAME) contained in a statement indicate that additional information is required. Select the term to display the window where the information can be added.

Tip: If no statements display, try selecting Show All.

Click to CloseTo add a schedule to a statement

Note: Schedules can be in PDF and TXT format only.

  1. In the body of the statement, select the Click to Closeunderlined text.

Schedule

The Statement window opens.

  1. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu, select Import From File.

A browser window opens.

  1. Navigate to the Schedule on your PC, and select Open.

The TEXT field of the window changes to See Schedules, and a paper clip icon Paper Clip appears on the Schedules branch.

  1. Select OK to close.

Click to CloseTo add an existing attachment to the statement

This feature allows you to attach another schedule already in the system.

  1. In the body of the statement, select the Click to Closeunderlined text.

Schedule

The Statement window opens.

  1. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu, select Existing Attachment.

The Select Attachment window opens.

  1. Enter the Registration Number of the Instrument, and select Search.

The TEXT field of the window displays See Schedules, and a paper clip icon Paper Clip appears on the Schedules branch.

  1. Select OK to close.

Click to CloseTo remove a schedule from an Instrument

  1. On the Statements branch, select the underlined text, Click to CloseSee Schedules, on the desired Statement.

The Statement window opens.

  1. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu, select Remove.

The Schedule is removed.

  1. Select OK to close.
  1. In the Other Statements section, select the required statements.

Click to CloseTo add a Writ to a Transferor

  1. In the Writs section, select the plus sign Plus Sign.

The section displays.

  1. Select the Enforcement Office, and enter the Execution Number and Name.
  2. Select Add Writ.

The writ displays in the branch. From here, you can perform a number of Click to Closenext steps.

Click to CloseTo change the Writ Statement

  1. Select the underlined Click to CloseStatement text on the Writ record.

Underlined Statement

The Select Statement for Writ of Execution window opens.

  1. Select the appropriate Statement.
  2. Select OK .

Tip: You can also change the statement by selecting Change Statement from the green arrow menu Green arrow menu to the right of the Writ record.

Click to CloseTo remove a Writ

  1. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu next to the desired Writ record, select Remove.

The Writ is removed.

Note: If a writ has been retrieved, it can not be removed.

Click to CloseTo generate the Writ Details Report

  1. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu next to the desired Writ record, select Writ Details Report.

The Writ Details Reference Information window opens.

  1. Enter the appropriate name in the Search Performed By field, and enter the Reference, if desired.
  2. Select OK.

The Writ Details Report displays.

  1. To download the PDF to your computer, if desired, click the Download All button.
  2. Save or print the file, as desired.

Click to CloseTo change the Address and Postal Code for Service

  1. In the Address and Postal Code for Service section, select the plus sign Plus Sign.
  2. Enter the address in the Address and Postal Code for Service field.
  3. Select Save.

Click to CloseTo remove a Transferor

  1. Select the Transferor you would like to remove from the Name List in the Transferor(s) branch.
  2. From the green arrow menu Green arrow menu, select Remove.

The Name is removed from the Name List

Click to CloseTo retrieve a Writ

Note: This will search writs for all Transferor names.

  1. Select the desired Transferor in the Transferor(s) branch.
  2. Choose the Retrieve Writs button.

The Writ is retrieved, and the Writ Certificates-PDF button will become available to select.

Click to CloseTo view the Writ Certificate

  1. Select the Writ Certificate - PDF button.

The PDF window opens.

  1. Save or Print the Writ Certificate as desired.

Select Save, and Next to move to the next branch.
